• When you write to us through our contact form, by email or by WhatsApp: your name, email address, phone number, the tour you are interested in and the content of your message.
• When you book: the details we need to organize your trip, such as your full name, passport number, nationality and date of birth and, if you tell us, dietary needs or medical information.
• When you use our complaints book: the details the law requires for a claim, such as your name, ID document, address, email address, phone number and the details of your claim.

We use your data to answer your questions, prepare your quote, book permits, entrance tickets, trains and hotels, run your tour, answer claims and meet our tax and legal obligations. We do not use it for advertising.

We share only the data each one needs with the authorities that issue Inca Trail permits and Machu Picchu tickets, and with the transport, hotel, activity and payment providers that are part of your trip. We do not sell your data.

We keep your data while it is needed for your booking and for the period required by Peruvian law, for example for tax records and for the claims registered in our complaints book.

Under Peru’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 29733) you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to info@southernperuexplorers.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact Peru’s National Authority for Personal Data Protection.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not use analytics tools at the moment; if we add them, we will update this page. Our contact form sends your message to us by email and does not store it on the website. Claims sent through the complaints book are stored, because the law requires us to keep them.
