our chef's

Our chefs come from all walks of life: some are farmers who grow your food, some work in luxury restaurants here in Cusco and some have been professionally trained in catering. However, all are trained by the standards of senior chefs from the top restaurants in Peru when they undertake our in house training. They are ultimately assessed on food hygiene, preparation and presentation so every one of your meals exceeds expectation.

Our chefs are usually also our farmers, so they literally bring you your food from Farm to Table, which we think is pretty impressive! They travel from their families and farms to come along on our expeditions to not only cook amazing Al Fresco meals but to help in carrying the equipment. These people are our food gurus knowing everything you would want to know about your food and cooked with generations of experience of traditional Peruvian cuisine.

Our produce comes from our local Andean communities. We purchase all our food either in local towns straight from farmers or from our very own infamous San Pedro market. It’s grown organic, bought fresh and served especially for you. 100% Peruvian, 100% Organic, 100% Fair Trade
