The best season to hike the Inca Trail is during the dry season, which typically runs from May to September. During this time, you can enjoy clear skies and warmer temperatures, making for a more pleasant trekking experience.

Rain Season: The rainy season, from October to April, brings heavy rainfall and an increased risk of mudslides along the trail. It is generally not recommended to hike the Inca Trail during this time due to safety concerns and difficult hiking conditions.

Dry Season: The dry season is ideal for hiking the Inca Trail, as you are less likely to encounter obstacles like mudslides and heavy rainfall. Additionally, the clear skies during this time offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains and ruins along the trail.
