TOUR INTRO

INTRODUCTION

The Manu Biosphere Reserve is a sprawling national park in southeastern Peru that covers Andean highlands, cloud forests, and lowland jungle. Known for its rich biodiversity, Manu is home to hundreds of bird species, jaguars, black caimans, monkeys, and even indigenous tribes that have still not made contact with the outside world to this day. This 8-day/7 night tour takes you into the Manu reserved zone by boat. Receiving much fewer visitors, the reserved area offers the opportunity to observe much more wildlife. We will visit two oxbow lakes where we will see significant, playful river otters, as well as many species of birds. We’ll also be going to the Blanquillo Clay Lick, where hundreds of macaws, parakeets, and parrots flock to eat and socialize. Are you ready for the experience of a lifetime?
