Cusco – Abra Malaga – Santa Maria
This epic trip will begin with an early, 7am pick up from your accommodation in Cusco. We will drive about two hours to Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley for breakfast. After a short break in Ollantaytambo, we will continue driving for another 1.5 hours to the Abra Milagra– a high mountain pass that separates the cold and snowy Andes, from the Amazonian dry heat. , This cold and picturesque peak (Ceja de Selva) marks from the Amazonian dry heat.

Santa Maria – Santa Teresa
Today we will cover 16km from the town of Santa Maria to Santa Teresa. We will depart early, scaling up jungle mountains on foot. For some of our trek, we will be walking on an ancient, Inca trail. We will pass through beautiful country with native animals, coffee and coca plantations, and lots of tropical fruits. We will stop to rest and have lunch in the town of Quellomayo before continuing on our journey.Quellomayo before continuing on our journey.

Santa Terea – Aguas Calientes
After breakfast, we will take an exhilarating adventure 250 meters above the ground.Southern Peruvian Explorers has teamed up with the Vertikal Adventure Park in Santa Teresa to give you a thrilling experience that includes five of the highest, fastest, and safest ziplines in Peru! Before your flight through the forest begins, your guides will teach you proper zipping and safety techniques. After, we will securely harness you in and attach you by pulley to a double cable

Machu Picchu – Cusco
We will board an early bus to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, you will receive a 2-hour guided tour of all of the most significant sites while learning about Incan history and culture. Afterward, you will have some free time to explore a part of Machu Picchu on your own before returning to Aguas Calientes as a group by bus. In Aguas Calientes, you will have a large selection of restaurants to choose from for lunch. We’ll then board an afternoon train
